三個和尚

從前有座山，山上有一個破廟，有一天，一個小和尚他來到廟里,看見廟里的水缸沒水了，就挑來水倒?jié)M了水缸，還給觀音瓶子里加滿了水，干枯的楊枝終于恢復(fù)了生機(jī)。他每天挑水、念經(jīng)、敲木魚，夜里不讓老鼠來偷東西，生活過得安穩(wěn)自在。

不久，來了個高和尚。他渴極了，他一到廟里，就把半缸水喝光了。小和尚讓他去挑水，高和尚心想一個人去挑水太吃虧了，他要小和尚和他一起去抬水。于是兩個人抬著一只水桶去山下取水，抬水的時候水桶必須放在扁擔(dān)的中央，要不不在中間，兩個人就推來推去，誰都不想多出一點(diǎn)力氣。

后來，又來了個胖和尚。他也想喝水，但恰好缸里沒有水了。小和尚和高和尚讓他自己去挑，胖和尚挑來一擔(dān)水，放下水桶就立刻咕咚咕咚的大喝起來，兩桶水被喝了個精光。

大家各念各的經(jīng)，各敲各的木魚，觀音菩薩面前的凈水瓶也沒人添水，柳枝枯萎了。夜里老鼠出來偷東西，誰也不管。結(jié)果老鼠打翻燭臺，燃起了大火。和尚們慌了神，三個和尚這才一起奮力救火，大火撲滅了，他們也覺醒了。
