　　Intelligent Son 聰明的兒子

　　One day, the father lets eight year-old son send a letter, the son took the letter , the father then remembered didn't write the address and addressee's name on the envelope.

　　有一天,父親讓八歲的兒子去寄一封信,兒子已經(jīng)拿著信跑了,父親才想起信封上沒(méi)寫(xiě)地址和收信人的名字。

　　After the son comes back, the father asks him: "You have thrown the letter in the mail box?"

　　兒子回來(lái)后,父親問(wèn)他:"你把信丟進(jìn)郵筒了嗎?"

　　"Certainly"

　　"當(dāng)然"

　　"You have not seen on the envelope not to write the address and the addressee name?"

　　"你沒(méi)看見(jiàn)信封上沒(méi)有寫(xiě)地址和收信人名字嗎?"

　　"I certainly saw nothing written on the envelope."

　　"我當(dāng)然看見(jiàn)信封上什么也沒(méi)寫(xiě)"

　　"Then why you didn't take it back?"

　　"那你為什么不拿回來(lái)呢?"

　　"I also thought that you do not write the address and the addressee, is for does not want to let me know that you do send the letter to who!"

　　"我還以為你不寫(xiě)地址和收信人,是為了不想讓我知道你把信寄給誰(shuí)呢!"

　　Who Is the Laziest 誰(shuí)最懶

　　Father: Well, Tom, I asked to your teacher today, and now I want to ask you a question. Who is the laziest person in your class?

　　父親：哎，湯姆，今天我跟你們老師談過(guò)，現(xiàn)在我想問(wèn)你個(gè)問(wèn)題。你們班上誰(shuí)最懶?

　　Tom: I don't know, father.

　　湯姆：我不知道，爸爸。

　　Father: Oh, yes, you do! Think! When other boys and girls are doing and writing, who sits in the class and only watches how other people work?

　　父親：啊，不對(duì)，你知道!想想看，當(dāng)別的孩子們都在做作業(yè)、寫(xiě)字時(shí)，誰(shuí)在課堂上坐著，只是看人家做功課?

　　Tom: Our teacher, father.

　　湯姆：我們老師，爸爸。

　　The bulging belly fox

　　A hungry Fox found in a hollow tree a quantity of bread andmeat, which some shepherds had placed there against their return. Delightedwith his find he slipped in through the narrow aperture and greedily devouredit all. But when he tried to get out again he found himself so swollen afterhis big meal that he could not squeeze through the hole, and fell to whiningand groaning over his misfortune. Another Fox, happening to pass that way, cameand asked him what the matter was; and, on learning the state of the case,said, “Well, my friend, I see nothing for it but for you to stay where you aretill you shrink to your former size; you’ll get out then easily enough.”

　　脹肚的狐貍

　　饑餓的狐貍在一棵中空的樹(shù)干中發(fā)現(xiàn)了一些牧羊人存留的面包和肉。高興之余，他立即通過(guò)那狹窄的縫隙擠進(jìn)去，貪婪的大吃起來(lái)。然而，當(dāng)他吃飽之后，卻發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的肚子脹鼓鼓的，即便費(fèi)了九牛二虎之力，卻怎么也鉆不出那個(gè)洞來(lái)，便在樹(shù)洞里唉聲嘆氣。另一只狐貍恰巧經(jīng)過(guò)那里，聽(tīng)到他的呻吟，便過(guò)去問(wèn)他原因。聽(tīng)明白緣由后，那只狐貍便說(shuō)道：“我的朋友，你就老老實(shí)實(shí)待在里邊吧，等到恢復(fù)了鉆進(jìn)去之前的身材，你就能輕松地出來(lái)了。”
